LAST CALL FOR SUMMER SCHOOL SIGN-UP! Slips must be
turned into the office by Friday, May 31st to ensure you will
have transportation!
Reminder that Summer Music Lesson forms are due this
Friday (5/24)! If you want piano, vocal, or instrumental
lessons this summer please make sure you turn those into Mr.
Hammers or Ms. Anderson this week. This includes grades 5-8.
The 5th grade agriculture class students found success in the
2019 Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom essay
contest.
Congratulations to Launa Daniels for placing 1st, Jadyn
Thaemert for placing 2nd, and Tanner Freer for placing 3rd in
Polk County! This year's essay contest theme was "Making it
Happen at the Farmer's Market". If you see Jadyn, Launa, or
Tanner be sure to give them a huge HIGH FIVE for doing so well
in the essay contest.
There will be open gym for any middle school student wanting to
improve their basketball skills Thursday, May 23, 7:30-8:30 in
the Middle School gym.

Beans, and Fresh Purple Grapes
Breakfast Tomorrow: French Toast Sticks
Lunch Tomorrow: Lemon or Sriracha Chicken, Rice, Steamed
Broccoli, and Pineapple
Save Time in the Lunch Line: Take Fruit/Veggies Everyday!
You must choose at least 1⁄2 cup of fruit, vegetable or a
combination of the 2 in order to have a complete meal. This is a
requirement of the National School Lunch Program. Be sure to
take fruit and/or veggies as you go through the lunch line. If you
don’t, you will be sent back to the line to get fruit/veggies. Please
be respectful of your lunch staff members and follow their
directions.
